Graduated in Fine Arts and Education in Melbourne. 
1971 - 2011  
Pursued a career teaching secondary school art and retired in 2011 after 28 years as the Head of Department at Camberwell Girls Grammar School. 
1991 
Completed Graduate Diploma of Graphic Communication Education. 
1986 - 2011 
Travelled widely in Australia, New Zealand, Europe, Asia Minor, Asia, South Africa and South America.  After travels in South America in 1998, completed a commissioned set of 10 full page water colour illustrations to complement the reflective text in a book ‘O Lago e a Vida’ (O Lake of Life) by William J Scrafield. 
2003 
Entered Archibald Prize with a portrait of Dr Peter Brain. 
2005 
Solo exhibition at Tony Smibert Gallery, Kangaroo Ground.  
2006, 2012 
Entered R and M McGiven Prize with paintings entitled ‘It is not too late’ and ‘The Future’.  
2012 
Accepted as a member of the Melbourne Society of Women Painters and Sculptors

Tricia is inspired by her travels and enjoys painting people, their emotions and relationship with their environment. Life drawing is one of her passions. More recent works include landscapes, life studies, commissioned portraits and life drawings.  Tricia lives in Heathmont.
