 Artist statement: Ann Rayment

I live in Dolphin Point NSW.

 I love colour and texture and I challenge myself to find new ways to include this in my work.

My work is largely acrylic and mixed media.

 I work quickly and expressively.

 The local  and Australian landscape is a huge source of inspiration for me.

 I use a variety of materials and processes in each work layering to create a mixed media piece.

 The subject matter of each body of work determines the materials and the forms of the work.
